Recorded in 5 days during the second week of December, 2013 with the focus of writing one track a day, using hardware synthesizers, samplers and drum machines exclusively, forgoing the use of soft synths. Kinda just for fun because computers are boring, and I was sick of producing every track to death. You wont find any fancy show-offy production. Just good solid jams that probably belong in a shoe store on Queen street circa 1996. I bit of a stylistic departure from other Coins releases.
While the younger audience wants to listen to music they can relate to in terms of feelings and social issues, all I want is the speakers to explode to Perturbator's killer synths. This album is the crowning achievement of the entire synthwave movement for me. thecoldnebula
